खनालले भेटे ‘विदेशी प्रभु’
भारत भ्रमणमा गएका एमाले अध्यक्ष झलनाथ खनालले नेपाली राजनीतिको निर्णायक शक्ति मानिएको भारतिय प्रधानमन्त्री तथा ‘विदेशी प्रभु’ डा मनमोहन सिंहसंग भेट गरेका छन । विदेशी प्रभुको दर्शन पाउनेलोभमा भारतभ्रमणमा गएका खनाल निरास भएर स्वदेश फर्कन प्लेनको टिकट काटिसकेको अवस्थामा अकस्मात आकाशवाणि भएर समय मिलेको खवर पाएपछि प्लेनको टिकट भाडमा जाए भनेर उतै भारतमा बसेका छन । खनाल सोमबार दिउ“सो एक बजेको उडानबाट नेपाल आउने कार्यक्रम थियो तर, १२ बजे अस्मात विदेशी प्रभु मनमोहन सिंहले दर्शनभेट दिने शन्देस पाएपछि उनी उतै बसे ।
खनाल र प्रधानमन्त्री सिंहबीच भेटको कार्यक्रम आइतबारै राखिएको थियो । तर, सिंहले समय नदिएका कारण उनीहरूबीच आइतबार भेट हुन सकेको थिएन । भारत सरकारको निमन्त्रणामा १७ कात्तिकमा भारत भ्रमणका लागि निस्केका खनालले भारतीय जनता पार्टीका नेता लालकृष्ण आडवाणी कांग्रेस नेता करण सिंह, भारतीय कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी माक्र्सवादीका वरिष्ठ नेता सीताराम यचुरीस“ग भेट गरे पनि आइतबारसम्म प्रधानमन्त्री सिंह र सत्तारुढ कांग्रेस आईकी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गान्धीस“ग भेट पाएका थिएनन् । जसको दर्शन गर्न गएको हो उसैको दर्शन नपाएपछि निरास बनेर उनी स्वदेश फर्कन आफु बसेको होटलमा सुटकेसमा सुटपिस प्याक गरिरहेको बेला एकाएक शन्देस आयो–प्रभु खुसी भएर भेट दिने भए ।’ त्यसपछि उनी मुसुक्क हांसेर भ्रमण कार्यक्रम रद्ध गरेर उतै बसे ।
चर्चामा रहे अनुसार खनालको भारत भ्रमणको मुख्य उदेश्य आफ्नै पार्टीका प्रधानमन्त्री माधव नेपाललाई प्रधानमन्त्रीको कुर्सीवाट गलहत्याएर आफैं प्रधानमन्त्री बन्ने नै हो । अब त्यसमा लागि माओवादीले परिभाषित गरेको विदेशी प्रभुको आर्शिवाद आवश्यक थियो । तर, उनले लाख प्रयास गरेपनि प्रभु खुसी भएनन ।
र उनी निरास भएर स्वदेश फर्कदै थिए । अकस्मात चमत्कार भयो प्रभुले शन्देस पठाए दर्शन हुने अनी उनी भारतमै बसे । दर्शनभेटमा कुरा के भयो त्यो थाहा हुन सकेको छैन । अब खनाललेनै त्यसको व्याख्या गर्लान । तर जे होस उनको दृष्टीकोणमा उनको भारत भ्रमण सफल भयो दर्शन पाएर ।

nepal’s politicians love to visit india for spending couple nights with indian top prostitute, not for any other major reason. they love to have fish dinner with beautiful indian prostitute at their hotel room. thats all! nothing much important.

In 2033, BP Koirala returned from exile in India saying “instead of negotiating with Queen of Delhi ( Indira Gandhi) regarding Nepalese issues I would rather return to Nepal and negotiate with my own country’s king irrespective of danger to my life”. It was his great step to escape from Indian dependency for each political, social and economic issue.
Likewise it would be better if our leaders stop going back and forth and back and forth to India, China, UN, EU and foreign embassy. There is elected constitutional assembly – why can’t they all come together and negotiate there.
Being JN Khanal PM is not a good solution – it makes people more frustrates as they have to live with the impression that it is simply a “puppet government” back up by India. MKN was already a bad choice – a mockery to democracy.
UML and Congress benefit more if they let Maoist run government without consulting any foreign powers from anyone except Prachanda and focus only on constitution making. Baburam , Badal, or anyone can be a good candidate. It helps creating a parallel personality of Prachanda within Maoist. Selfish Prachanda will not let Baburam flourish as Girija let not KP Bhattarai shine. If old parties had let Maoist form government and check their each steps, Maoist popularity would have gone drastically downhill.

These politicians are making mockery of democratic system of Nepal. They even dont have balls to make decesion on their own. Prachanda went to China and Jhallu went to India. As Eklavya said about BP, just make the decision on your own, for your country, for your people without begging with India and China. The bottom line is you guys were given mandate to write constitution, not too enjou the Satta bhog and power. Thats why the only significant and important step should to finish constitution as soon as possible.

यी नेताहरु यस्तै हुन् यानिहरु देश बनाउन होइन खाली आफै बन्नलाई पैसा कमौना मात्र पद मा जान खोज्छन | त्यसैले त देशको हालत यस्तो भएको छ नि | जनताको नाम लिएर सत्तामा पुग्ने अनि जनताको ज पनि नासंझिने परम्परा जहिले सम्म कायम रहन्छा तेसबेला सम्म देशको विकास हुन असम्भब छ | आफ्नो गरको कुरा अरु आएर मिलाउनु पर्ने हाम्रा देशका नेताहरु नै यस्ता भएकाले भारतलाई प्रभु बन्न सजिलो भएको हो |

BP Koirala was a great leader. Probably there is no one at par in South Asian region. Even, then Indian leaders used to take advice from BP.
I agree with Eklavya that ‘UML and Congress benefit more if they let Maoist run government without consulting any foreign powers from anyone except Prachanda and focus only on constitution making. Baburam , Badal, or anyone can be a good candidate’.
