माओवादीका उदाहरणिय काम
केही सकारात्मक अनी केही नकारात्मक धेरै उदाहरणिय काम गरेको छ माओवादीले । यो आन्दोलनको स्वरुप र संस्कृती त्यही उदाहरणिय काममध्येका एक सकारात्मक काम हो ।
छिटफुट घटना बाहेक सिंहदरवार घेराउ कार्यक्रम शान्तीपुर्ण बनाएर माओवादीले आन्दोलनमा समेत परिर्वतनको संकेत दिएको छ । आन्दोलन भनेको नियम मिच्ने हो, बल प्रयोग गर्ने हो, सडकको विचमा टायरको धुंवा उडाएर यातायात ठप्प बनाउने हो अनी सरकारी सम्पत्तिको सर्वनाश गर्ने हो भन्ने एक प्रकारको कार्यतालीकानै बनेको थियो । तर, दोस्रो चरणको अन्तिम आन्दोलन सिंहदरवार घेराउसम्म आईपुग्दा माओवादीले आन्दोलनका पुराना कार्यतालीका पुरै परिर्वतन गर्दै आन्दोलन भनेको नाचगान गर्ने हो, शान्तीपुर्ण रुपमा सरकारले लागु गरेको नियमको पालना गर्ने हो, तोकिएको स्थानमा जम्मा भएर आफ्नो माग राख्ने हो भन्ने स्थापीत गर्न सफल भएका छन ।
विहिवारको सिंहदरवार घेराउ कार्यक्रम एक स्थान बाहेक सबैतिर शान्तीपुर्ण मात्र भएन एक उत्सव र स्ट्रिट फेस्टिबल समान देखियो । कवि रामेशको चर्चीत गीत गाउं गाउंवाट उठ वस्तीवस्तीवाट उठमा भनिएझै नाच्न जान्नेले नचाए, हसाउन जान्नेले हसाए,बाजा बजाउन जान्ने बाजा बजाए अनी भाषण ठोक्न जान्नेले भाषण ठोके । पेन्टीगं गर्न आउनेले सकडमा बसेर पेन्टिंग गरे । जोसंग जे सिप छ त्यही गरे । साच्चिकै उदाहरणीय भयो माओवादीको दोस्रो चरणको आन्दोलन ।
माओवादी शान्तीपुर्ण प्रर्दशनमा उत्रिने छ भन्ने नै एक अविश्वसनिय बाक्य बनेको थियो । उनीहरु हिंशाप्रेमी हुन र हिंशाविना वाच्न सक्दैनन भन्ने एक प्रकारको उनीहरुको छवी बनेकाले नै माओवादी आन्दोलनलाई ंिहंशात्मक बन्ने पुर्वानुमानहरु भएका हुन सरकार र नागरिकका तर्फवाट पनि । तर,माओवादी नेता, कार्यकर्ता र समर्थक सबैको सामुहिक रुपमा यो छवी केही पखालीएको छ ।
दोस्रो चरणको आन्दोलनको स्वरुपले माओवादी सबै क्षेत्रमा उदाहरण बन्ने प्रयासमा रहेछ भन्ने शन्देस गएको छ । जनयुद्धकालीन अवस्थामा आतंक फैलाउन जसलाइ जसरी पनि मार्नसक्ने शक्तिको उदाहरणको रुपमा उदायो । राजाले कु गरेर सत्ता हातमा लिएपछि हतियारविहीन दलहरुसंग सहकार्य गरेर लोकतन्त्र स्थापनामा सक्रिय भएर एक उदाहरण देखायो । संसदिय राजनीतिमा विश्वास गर्ने दलहरुसित सहकार्य गरेर हतियार विसाएर चाहने हो भने द्धन्द्ध समाधानका लागि आफु–आफु मिले सबै हुन्छ भन्ने उदाहरण देखायो ।
सार्वजनिक राजनीतिमा आए लगत्तै वाइसिएलको गठन गरेर युवाशक्ति जम्मा पारेर दुरुपयोग गर्ने हो भने सहजै समाजलाई आतंकीत बनाउन सकिने रहेछ भन्ने उदाहरण देखायो । संविधान सभामा सबैभन्दा ठुलो दलको रुपमा उदाएर त्रास र आशको राजनीति ग¥यो भने फाइदाहुन्छ भन्ने उदाहरण पनि देखायो । यस्तै यस्तै केही सकारात्मक अनी केही नकारात्मक धेरै उदाहरणिय काम गरेको छ माओवादीले । यो आन्दोलनको स्वरुप र संस्कृती त्यही उदाहरणिय काममध्येका एक सकारात्मक काम हो ।
आमजनमानस माओवादीवाट अर्को उदाहरणिय कामको अपेक्षा गरिरहेका छन । त्यो हो संविधान सभा मार्फत नयां संविधान निर्माणका लागि प्रतिपक्षमा बसेर भएपनि सकारात्मक र सहयोगी भुमिका खेलेर प्रतिपक्ष कस्तो हुनुपर्छ भन्ने उदाहरण बन्ने । सके त अहिलेको सरकारमा सहभागि भएर सबै दल सत्ताधारी बने झन राम्रो । यदी विविध कारणले अहिलेको सरकारमा जान नसकेपनि अहिलेका यि सबै लफडा नयां संविधान जारी नभएसम्मका लागि थांती राखेर संविधान निर्माण गरी एक असल उदाहरणको पर्खाइमा छौं हामी । तर, के यो सम्भव होला ?
दोस्रो चरणको आन्दोलनवाट आफ्ना मागहरु पुरा नभए तेस्रो चरणको आन्दोलनमा जाने र त्यो आमहड्तालसम्मको हुने माओावदी अध्यक्ष प्रचन्डले घोषणा गरिसकेका छन । सरकारमा रहेकाहरुको बोली सुन्दा तत्काल माओवादीले उठाएका मागहरु सम्बोधन हुन्छन भन्ने संकेत देखिएका छैनन । त्यसैले वार्ता र संवादको बाटो बन्दै भएर कतै माओवादी तेस्रो चरणको आन्दोलनमा प्रवेश गर्ने पो हो कि भन्ने संकेतहरु देखिएका छन । आशा र कामना गरौं सकेसम्म माओवादी तेस्रो चरणको आन्दोलनमा नहोमियोस । चांडै दलहरुविच सहमति होस र अहिलेको राजनीतिक संकटले निकाश पाओस । यदी त्यसो हुन सकेन भनेपनि तेस्रो चरणको आन्दोलनपनि दोस्रो चरणको झै शान्तीपुर्ण र भद्र बनोस ।

Nepali ko buddhi kahile na aaune bho. K shantipurna matra sapai requirement ho ta. Maobadi ko yo andolan euta crimnal act ni ho. Kati manche le dukha paye. Can you imagine this type of andolan taking place in any developed country?
In UK when Gurkha protested last year they had to take an appointment to British government. British government gave them time and place to protest. No office were closed, no traffic were distrubed, people who has nothing to do with protest didn’t suffer.
But what happened in Nepal is nothing but a criminal act. One person died in the blokade after being in ambulance for 8 hours.
NO Andolan can be justified by using the term “SHANTIPURNA”. It is just one of the requirement. But most essential requirment is one should not hamper others democratic rights while practicing their own andolan.

I agree with Knight but the problem is Nepalese people conscious and intellectual level has not reach to the point you have commented. My children have to cut their school for two days because of this so called Maoist “Shantipurna Andolan”.
Prachanda’s granddaughter might have secure political future singing in the street without going to school. What about my children? They have to read and write- work out their every blood, sweat, tear and toil to achieve success- after all being born in “Bahun” family, they won’t get any reservations and quotas. That’s what I always tell my children – they can rely on nothing except their hard work. And these Maoist are snatching that working environment from thousands of children like mine through this so called “Shantipurna Andolan”

Even though they talk of all kinds of nonsense and try to imply that they are different, the maoists are ultimately destined to subscribe to the established life-trajectory of any successful political party. After an initial surge in strength (and popularity), growth will be stagnant and once in power for some time, it will start plummeting. The reasons are simple. Every political party that comes after a change is full of inexperienced and hungry (and also aggressive and arrogant in the case of the maoists) people who will commit innumerable mistakes when they come into the legislature (and government).
The maoist however have been a little clever not to reach the wall as the other parties used to do. Alternatively, they are resorting to all sorts of experimentations – resign from govt, nagarik sarbochchatako suga ratai, prabhu ko dhog, andolan ko baadhi, sadak naach and all kind of things. Ultimately, they are also bound by the past agreements and will have seek some kind of truce, but with their sam-dam-danda-bhed niti, will have an upper hand in the next elections

I was in Kathmandu during the picketing and was in fact amazed to see such a controlled demonstration for the first time. Indeed, both the government and demonstrator should praise. Now. I am out of Kathmandu in and feel proud to receive comments from my expatriate friends how disciplined the demonstrators were!

Your have a true analysis regarding Maoist. This blog needs people like you to make it a better blog. If India and old parties did not correct their mistakes, your conclusion, would definitely come true.
Maoist would go downhill only when they would get couple more months to run government. In undeveloped countries like Nepal, it’s easy to rise for radical pro-change parties like Maoist as people go more with sentiments than reasons. But when they come to power it is as certain as rise of sun in the east that they can’t fulfil the promises they made. Also there would emerge corrupt and greedy leaders from the Maoist party within which we can clearly see from Maoist pro-jungle life style, their attire, their vechiles, their investments in land and other profit oriented business. Where did they get this money from ?
Maoist in road is more dangerous than Maoist leading government. Let them run the government , check and monitor each and every one of their action, and let Nepalese people see true color- which of course would be worse than old parties if you ask me my opinion.

The first round of maoist andolan definitely completed without any voilence and force, However I have a doubt that the second round of andolan will the follow the preceedence. Actually I think the peaceful demostration is the just the part of maoist strategy. There will be voilence in the second round and maoist leader will be hell bent to claim and prove that, look we were peaceful right from the beginning but government used excessive force, hence it turned into violent.

There is one more difference between human and animal
Human doesnot indulged in barbaric act of killing innocent people while animals does not care about human life.
One more thing, Human does not justify killing of people but for animal others life does not count. There are more difference and I can go on but lets stop it here. Now I m confused who is human and who is animal!

At least all moderate and most UML and Congress members and supporters accept their parties’ shortcomings, speak against their corrupt leaders and try to uproot them.
These Maoist cadres and their supporters act as if they are like a mafia – Cosa Nostra. They want to cut those people’s tongues who speak against them. They break people neck, arm, leg and backbone if you reject to follow their ideology.
Let judge who is better.

I don’t mean in absolute term but in relative term old parties are less worse than Maoist.
They won’t. It is depressing to know but its true these parties have a history of letting criminals escape for their selfish interest.
Think about Bharat Gurung Case and Congress government of that time. DB Lama and Congress tie. Bhim Prasad Guachan and UML ties. Parasi case and hundred more to name.
My point is at least you can pin point that in public in case of old parties without being threatened that you would lose your life . But in Maoist case it’s a suicide. Maoist and Communist have that culture. Stanlin killed his colleague Leon Trotsky when he escapes Russia and was in exile in Mexico. This legacy still prevails in Maoist. In fact, at one point Baburam Bhattarai almost meet that fate of Trotsky, I heard Maoist cadres talk that. Think about Alok case.
